#witch’smagicbook丨Witch’sbelief #4

The witch has two magic books, one is called Grimoire and the other is called Book of Shadows.
Grimoire: A place where learned information is stored. Spells, ritual structures and any information such as plant correspondences, notes, anything related to magic are here.
Book of Shadows: A place where secrets are kept. Such as the spells you create and cast, their results, your dreams, etc.
Wicca Sacred Faith
The blessing beliefs practiced by Wiccan include working with nature, God, ethics, and harmony. Each one can be customized to fit your practice so that it better aligns with your own beliefs.
Nature: Wicca is earth-centered, respects all life and cares for the environment. How does this look specifically in your own practice? Will you choose to use reusable items? Will it reduce the carbon footprint? Will gardens or trees be planted? Will there be a ceremony for the natural elements?
Morality and Harmony: Throughout Wicca we see the importance of morality and making sure to “harm no one” Another important part of Wicca is free will. Just as everyone has the right to choose their own path, others should also have the right to make their own choices without manipulation. In balance and harmony, if something is taken, something must be given.
When using magic, rituals, or spells, take the time to create a code of ethics that sets the boundaries for your practice. You are free to do what you choose, but you are also responsible for your actions.
God: When it comes to working with God, you have a choice again. At Wicca, animistic, deistic, theistic or atheistic beliefs can be put into practice. There is no fixed way to practice or a single existence you must believe in. Through trial and error, find what works for you.
Animism: The belief that objects, places, and living things have a unique spiritual essence. These beliefs often appear in indigenous practices and shamans.
Deism: Belief in a supreme being or creator who does not interfere with the universe. Deism rejects supernatural elements in religion, such as rituals or special events. (The terms “deism” and “theism” are both derived from “god,” and were considered synonyms until the 17th century.)
Theism Theism: Belief in God. It is generally divided into the subcategories of pantheism, pantheism, polytheism, ditheism, and monotheism.
Pantheism: The belief that the natural world and God are one, where “pan” means “all” and “theism” means “god”. This theory interprets God as the “source of all things”.
This view of the universe as a manifestation of God is reflected in the common Wicca practice of worshiping the Lord God and Goddess. In pantheism, Wiccan deities are often referred to as the Horned God and the Three Goddess.
Panentheism: the belief that God exists in all things and that God is greater than the universe. The addition of “en”, meaning “in”, to panentheism makes it different from panentheism.
Polytheism: is a belief in multiple gods and goddesses, including many different deities drawn from various pagan pantheons. This allows for a large number of different pantheons and religions to be included.
Duotheism: The belief in two equal gods, such as a male god and a goddess. This is seen throughout Wicca as a belief in gods and goddesses, often associated with pantheism, pantheism, and polytheism.
Monotheism: Belief in a god or goddess. This can be seen in the Wiccan of Diac, who usually only believe in the goddess side of God, or in Christian witches, who practice witchcraft within a Christian framework and worship Jesus and Mary together as gods and goddesses.
Despite the controversy surrounding Christian witches in the magical community, at its core Wicca does not judge people for which path they choose.
Atheism: Atheism is the disbelief in the existence of God, in contrast to theism. This is common among secular witches.
