#joya Divination丨Poker Card Divination Prediction Tutorial #5: Spades Deck

Today we are going to look at each of the cards and what they mean in the interpretation. I’ll tell you a few key words and then elaborate on potential interpretations of these cards. Most of my systems come from years of practicing divination and playing games with playing cards. I have found that, in some cases, my personal work with a particular card has shown me a different meaning than what I originally understood. When it comes to these divination methods, practice makes perfect.
Spade deck meaning
The Spades deck with cards of sorrow, pain and battle. Think of them as warnings or signs of avoidable trouble.
Ace of spades: death, mutation. This card is similar to the Death card in the tarot deck. It does not necessarily mean physical death, but a sudden transition or ending. Much of this card’s meaning is determined by what’s next to it. If it is a Six of Clubs, this may mean that a business venture will come to an abrupt end. With the Diamond and/or the Three of Hearts, clients can stop expecting others to give them anything, they can only rely on themselves. This card can also represent deep isolation, and in some cases, may even mean a period of contemplation, but again, this depends on the context.
Two of Spades: a duel, a separation. The 2 of spades means someone is craving a fight, and there’s a good chance they’ll get one. Paired with cards like the 2 or 9 of Hearts, a romantic separation is imminent. If it is placed next to a character card, such as a Jack, King or Queen, it is likely to quickly fall out with that person.
Three of Spades: Fights, frustrations and obstacles. Unlike the obstacles presented by the Three of Clubs, the obstacles presented by this card are not a test of self-development and overcoming difficulties. On the contrary, this card represents fighting hard in the most difficult times and surviving to the end. For example, the Three of Spades might portend a violent argument with a parent (if next to the King or Queen of Clubs), or financial troubles at work (if next to the Six of Diamonds or Clubs).
Four of Spades: Four Horsemen, Quagmire. Seeing a four in any suit can make someone feel a little trapped, but seeing a four of spades means being unable to move. It also portends illness, poverty, violence and even death. This means that if the person involved doesn’t make some changes, however difficult it may be to make changes, there could be some dire consequences. However, there is a positive side to this card. For example, if this card is followed by the 5 of Hearts and the Jack of Hearts, it could mean that someone who has always wanted to get pregnant will soon be able to do so, although it won’t be easy. But overall, this card is undoubtedly a “warning” card.
Five of Spades: Disease; a corpse. The five of spades represents illness, pain, etc. It can also mean that there is something that needs to be buried, such as a conflict the client has with someone. When paired with other Fives or Tens of Clubs, it often means the client will overcome an illness or deal with an inner shadow. However, things get even worse when paired with the Nine or Ten of Spades.
Six of Spades: Devil; temptation; wrong decision. If the Queen of Spades is the angel on her shoulder, then the Six of Spades is the other side of the devil wearing red pajamas and holding a fork. The good thing about this card is that any temptation it presents can be recognized and dealt with. But sometimes, giving in to temptation can be fun, so keep an eye on the other cards around you. If there are a lot of red cards around this card, it could mean some harmless vice. However, if there is a Two of Hearts and a Five of Spades next to it, this could be a sign that a sexual relationship is becoming destructive.
Seven of Spades: Tears, blood, war. The tears suggested by the 7 of Spades can be tears of sadness or tears of joy, depending on the context. This card may also be a warning that violence is not far away, or that something deep within the subject is affected by the overall interpretation. But seven always has a twist. While sevens of other suits tend to have some strong negative side effects, the seven of spades can have a very positive side. It can suggest great power, control over a situation, or even impending victory and glory. Still, caution is always best.
Eight of Spades: An argument, yelling. Communication is important, but how a person communicates is also important. Drawing the eight of spades means that the client has not made himself clear and is likely to find himself constantly surrounded and unable to solve life’s problems. It may also mean a long argument with those close to the client. For example, if it’s the Queen of Clubs and the Five of Hearts, it could be the mother-in-law.
Nine of spades: funeral, coffin, a ghost. Viewed from above, the Nine of Spades looks like a funeral procession carrying a black coffin (at least that’s one way to look at it). This may indicate some kind of grieving process, a need for ritual and order to restore balance, or simply a need for closure. In some cases, this card may mean that someone or something from the past is still haunting the subject (it may even mean literal haunting). Matched with the Jack of Clubs or the Jack of Hearts, it may mean an old friend or some kind of old lover.
Ten of Spades: Cemetery, a ruined church. This card shows the consequences of grief and trouble, and in that sense, it’s not actually that bad. This shows that the worst is over and all that’s left is to pick up the pieces and move on. It can also be a peace card, a return to calm and quiet, and even to some extent innocence. Paired with a card like the Six of Clubs, this can mean a lapse in faith and the need to re-evaluate one’s belief in something.
Jack of Spades: A rebel, bad news, backstabber. The Jack of Spades is a bad boy/girl, someone who is not to be trusted, but can be very seductive. If there is a card like the 6 of spades next to it, it may mean that this kind of lover is not good, but very desirable. If it is the Two of Diamonds or the Eight of Diamonds, this means that gossip about the client is spreading and steps should be taken to stop it. The Jack of Spades can also simply mean that bad news is coming, so be prepared.
The Queen of Spades: a cruel mother, seductress, jealousy, female rival. Be careful with this special queen! She is very powerful and knows how to use that power to get what she wants. She tries to get something out of the subject, whether it’s a lover, money, or general happiness. However, this card can also be a warning that the subject is becoming too jealous for no reason, which is almost an opposite reading in a way. So context is also important. Paired with the 6 of Spades or the 8 of Hearts, the woman is likely to try to sabotage a relationship. However, paired with the 6 of Hearts, this may mean that the object is unnecessarily jealous.
King of Spades: criminal, executioner, anger, male opponent. The King of Spades is also powerful and just as clingy as his Queen. He is not an impartial judge in the club, but an executioner ready to punish any wrongdoing. If possible, he will take what the customer deserves or attack when the customer is most vulnerable. If this card appears, the client should try to make amends for any mistakes and seek support from friends or family during difficult times.
