#joya Divination丨Poker Card Divination Prediction Tutorial #4: Heart Card Group

Today we are going to look at each of the cards and what they mean in the interpretation. I’ll tell you a few key words and then elaborate on potential interpretations of these cards. Most of my systems come from years of practicing divination and playing games with playing cards. I have found that, in some cases, my personal work with a particular card has shown me a different meaning than what I originally understood. When it comes to these divination methods, practice makes perfect.
Meaning of the heart deck
The Hearts deck is associated with deep emotions as well as family, friends, and loved ones. These cards usually represent people familiar to the questioner.
Ace of Hearts A kiss; a new relationship; feeling lonely. Drawing the Ace of Hearts in divination means that a new lover may join, or at least a previously dull relationship will take on new life. Typically this is a positive card, but if adjacent to the Two of Spades it may indicate a period of separation and loneliness.
Two of Hearts: Lovers; Couple; Sex Card. This card inspires smiles and teasing laughter. Simply put, it’s about sex. But it’s more than that, it can also symbolize emotional intimacy with others, including family members (try not to confuse the two meanings…shudder). So if you draw this card, say with the King or Queen of the Club, it often means family ties, while adjacent to any of the Jacks, it could portend a pleasant tryst.
Three of Hearts: Wish comes true; cup is full. The Three of Hearts indicates that something deeply desired is about to appear. This isn’t quite as complete as the Ten of Spades or the Ten of Hearts, but it usually means that at least one thing will go right.
Four of Hearts: Suitcase or suitcase, a lock. Like the other four cards, this card shows relative stagnation. However, in the case of the Four of Hearts, this can also mean hatching or preparation. The image of a hope chest or a steam box fits this card, promising all the potential for excitement, romance, marriage, and just life in general. However, getting bogged down in preparation can lead to a closed life where everything is kept as it is and never has a chance to be used.
Five of Hearts: A chapel, fertility, a bed. The Five of Hearts shows the healthy development of romance, leading to family and (potential) marriage. Paired with something like the Queen of Diamonds, it almost certainly means some kind of wedding. Pair it with the Jack of Hearts to prepare for the new family member nine months later. However, paired with the 9 of Clubs, this card might just mean someone needs a good night’s sleep.
Six of Hearts - a dog, loyalty and endurance, long-term relationships. If the questioner gets the Six of Hearts in a reading, he or she can expect to stick with it for a long time, no matter what it is. It could be a family situation, a romance, or even: if paired with something like the 2 of Spades: a lengthy divorce. However, the nice thing about this card is its dog imagery. Paired with a Lover card like the 2 of Hearts, it indicates a sincere and faithful partner, someone who loves unconditionally and will always be there.
Seven of Hearts: Hate, fear. This card shows a love that becomes too strong and turns into hate, or perhaps fear and terror of another person. If the reader sees something like a 5 or 9 of spades on this card, this is a sign that the relationship will end violently and help should be sought immediately. Or, in a situation like the Ace of Clubs, it may indicate self-loathing that needs to be overcome. It is also possible that the Seven of Hearts will serve as a warning in the interpretation, alerting the target to the presence of an enemy.
Eight of Hearts: Flirting, pillow whispering. The 2 of Hearts is about doing, this card is about saying. The Eight of Hearts shows the flirtatious and fun stages of flirtation and courtship that often occur early in a relationship. It also means sweet, tender intimacy and connecting with your partner on an emotional and physical level.
Nine of Hearts: A small house/cottage, a new life. When a client pulls this card, it is usually related to the creation of a new family or home. Paired with the 4 of Hearts or the 5 of Clubs, this could mean saving money to buy a new house, or it could mean moving. However, if aces appear, be aware of them, as they may herald a sudden change in life circumstances, leading to a new life that the client does not actually want.
Ten of Hearts: A happy family, a fire. With the 10 of Hearts, everything about a person’s emotional and personal life seems to be in order. Romance is going well, family relationships are strong, and everything is fine. Imagine gathering around a warm fire with friends and family, enjoying a perfect summer evening. However, know that like all fires, this fire can burn. Pair it with the Ace of Spades and prepare for a happy upheaval.
Jack of Hearts: A baby, a cradle, a young boy. This card makes many clients nervous and some very happy. Because of its strong association with newborn babies, the Jack of Hearts often informs pregnancy, especially when matched with the Five of Hearts. This card may also be associated with peace and tranquility, even to some extent indicating a period of self-indulgence. In some cases, the business card simply refers to a boy or young man in the client’s life.
Queen of Hearts: Client, soul mate. Remember when I said the King and Queen of Hearts were unusual? This is because they are used to represent actual customers in interpretations. If a reader has a female client, she represents the Queen of Hearts. If the reader’s client is male, this card represents the perfect, ideal lover or soul mate. At least one of these two cards will show up in every expansion reading (more on that when we talk about layouts). The presence of both indicates a pre-existing marriage or a deep and lasting love.
King of Hearts: Client, soul mate. Like the Queen of Hearts, this card can represent a male client or a soul mate. I know some people ask about gay couples, and I would say that even though the cards suggest a gender pairing, the meaning of “soulmate” still applies to gay couples. Since there are no two Kings of Hearts in the deck, a gay man would see his ideal partner depicted as the Queen of Hearts. In turn, if a gay woman sees the King of Hearts in her reading, she can expect to meet the man of her dreams.
