14 common signs you’re attracted to witchcraft and magick
1. You love almost everything
Let me reiterate: this does not mean that you love everyone on earth (hence the “almost”). It simply means that you are filled with gratitude for everything on earth and the role they play in this world. Witches are often associated with gardens and animals because of their strong connection to nature and everything in it.
2. You are aligned with the moon cycle
Many witches say their moods change with the lunar cycle; maybe that’s why people say they go crazy during the full moon? The moon largely symbolizes the Mother Goddess, who symbolizes love, fertility, death, mystery, passion, and more. Witches who are in tune with the moon say they feel an almost magnetic attraction to the moon, especially during the full and new moons.
3. You love natural life
Essential oils, home grown food, healing crystals, meditation, you name it. You try to avoid processed foods in supermarkets and restaurants. You also try to avoid getting sucked into social media and materialism.
4. You feel one with nature
With a stream, a meadow, a few bouncing bunnies, and your “family,” you can become one with everything in the world. Whenever you experience the endless beauty of nature, you can feel your soul singing.
5. You are an empath
Feel and experience other people’s emotions as you would your own.
6. You are passionate about helping and healing
Many shamans choose to use their gifts as natural healers, alternative medicine practitioners, and general practitioners. The greatest gift of witches is their ability to not only help those around them, but the entire world.
7. You can feel the changes of the four seasons
Have you ever noticed that each season has a different feel? Unique smell? The obvious look? You feel the subtle or drastic changes each season brings, and you enjoy them (or at least appreciate them). Some witches even experience mood and personality changes depending on the season.
8. Children and animals are attracted to you
Many people say that children and animals are attracted to them, but that doesn’t automatically make them a witch. But it does mean there’s something special about them. Keep in mind that this does not include children and animals that you see regularly and are attracted to because of familiarity. I’m talking about children or animals who randomly stare at you and/or come near you for no reason. You know, the ones with kids and animals that make you stop and say, “Why are they staring at me?” Children and animals are pure beings who have no one constantly questioning their reality and everything under the sun. This is most likely why they can see spirits and auras better than older children and adults. Their spirituality is not suppressed.
9.Do you like the dark or are afraid of the dark
I know what you’re thinking: “How can love or hate be a symptom?” Well, it depends on how aware you are of your spiritual gifts, how well you can control them, and your general beliefs. In many cases, one of the great things about being a wizard is that you can form your own beliefs about the world based on experience and the type of magic you practice. Some witches follow established beliefs such as Wicca, Shamanism, Paganism, Druids, other branches of Paganism or whatever. Likewise, some people go their own way and form their own beliefs (which is what I did, it’s called eclectic witchcraft). Naturally, this leads to many ideas about darkness and what it means. Some people think that darkness is not scary, but should be embraced; some people think that darkness represents negativity and evil. It all depends on your point of view.
Hating or fearing the dark is another sign of a witch (or at least a spiritually sensitive person) who is unaware of their spiritual gifts. The night is known as “Witches’ Hour” (I think it’s 12 to 3:03 AM. Some say it’s only 12 to 1 AM, others say 3 to 4 AM), which is basically when paranormal activity is at its peak. For people who don’t understand their gift, don’t know how to control it, or are afraid of it…this can cause problems such as nightmares, night terrors, sleep paralysis, feelings of being watched, moving objects, sounds, etc. But keep in mind that if the latter three occur to you regularly, you may want to see if your house is haunted, if you have an unwanted spiritual attachment, or if there is an entity that really needs your attention. I don’t recommend interacting with anything until you learn to understand your gifts and protect yourself, so just leave it alone.
10.You feel drawn to the elements
Water, wind, fire, earth and spirit. You don’t have to like all the elements, in fact you may only have a real affinity for one or two of them; for me, that’s water. It’s hard to describe, but you will know which element you are truly connected to. The feeling of being in contact with the water is like an electric shock running through your body, warm and fuzzy, intoxicating. It makes you happy. It makes you feel safe. You can feel the genuine connection and emotion it radiates. You can see yourself in this element. To me, water is beautiful, but it should not be underestimated. A lot of people love it, but a lot of people hate it. It feels very feminine (don’t ask me how, because I don’t know) and motherly. It’s also very intense and emotional.

This is a frequently encountered problem. If it’s daytime, walking through a store or other location, or going to the bathroom during the day is fine. But mirrors and night just…don’t work. Don’t want to get involved. If you’re wondering why you have nighttime mirror phobia, it’s because mirrors are said to be gates or “portals” to other dimensions and/or spaces of existence.
