Introduction: Listening to Animals

Nature fills my life. I was lucky enough to spend my childhood surrounded by forests, ponds, streams, and fields. Whether in dreams or in the real world, animals interact with me frequently, guide me in making important decisions in life, and even predict my father’s death.
I’ve looked eye-to-eye with wild wolves, interacted with elk, bears, porcupines, and otters. I’ve had falcons, owls, and even golden rocs perch on my arms. I’ve also been bitten by foxes, fed bald eagles, and marveled at the roar of elk on the distant hills. Crows wake me up every morning, ravens guide me when I get lost, I have carefully held a fragile seahorse in the palm of my hand, I have followed green moray eels to a depth of 150 feet, and flying falcons always watch over me as I travel.
All of this makes me marvel at the mysteries of nature and its diversity—especially the words it speaks to my personal life when I encounter it. I try to find the teachings He wants to give me because I know that nature will speak to us if we are willing to listen. Every animal has its own story, every flower blooms as a reminder to be creative, and every tree whispers the secrets of life through its rustling leaves.
As a lifelong student of the occult, with a rigorous background in literature and linguistics, I have discovered that most of the world’s classics and myths have a legend surrounding animal spirits, and believe that divine power will communicate with humans through nature. Human beings and nature are inseparable, and animals and nature do not belong exclusively to any group or organization in human society. All people can be moved by them.
Today, we often hear people say they want to “return to their original nature” to be in touch with the earth again. In fact, we have never been separated from the earth, and the connection between us and the earth has never been severed. Everything we do will be reflected on the earth, and ultimately it will be retributive to ourselves. But unfortunately, many people choose to ignore or fail to recognize this. The sad thing is that when we fail to respect all aspects of nature and our intimate connection with each other, we also lose respect for our own hearts.
I am a part of nature, and as a part of it, I have the responsibility to try to establish a connection with the environment in which I live, because the more I can understand this environment, the better I can understand myself. I clearly stated my position of trying to understand the environment in which I live and all life in it (including humans and animals). This has led some people to think that I am just an amateur naturalist, but I simply want to speak the language of life.
If you are planning to move to a foreign country, you should learn the language of that country. The more you understand the intricacies, details, and usage of the language, the smoother your life will be and the easier it will be for you to survive and thrive.
Nature is part of your life and your surroundings, and if you truly want to thrive and be creative in this world, you must learn its language. The easiest and most interesting way is to listen to what the animals say.
Many myths tell that in that magical era when humans and animals were still different from each other, humans and animals coexisted peacefully and understood the languages of animals. It was an era when humans and gods still interacted with each other. There was no such thing as wild and domesticated. Animals and humans could talk to each other. Sometimes humans learned to speak the language of animals, and sometimes animals learned to speak the language of humans.
While exploring science and reason, we began to view nature and its various elements as objects that have nothing to do with us and can be simply studied. For many people, taking a scientific approach destroys the mystery and spirituality of nature, lifting the veil of “mystery” and believing that there is nothingness behind the truth. But the nature revealed by science should make us more admirable for the mystery of life and its various different and magnificent life expressions, and teach us the intricate relationship between every aspect of nature and our own existence.
We can learn a lot from the animal world. Some animals are good at surviving and adapting to their environment, and we can sometimes put these skills to use. Some animals never get sick. It would be great if we could learn the secrets! Some animals are born nurturers and protectors, some are fertile and some are very gentle, some have strength and courage, and some can teach you a lot of fun. Animals show the potential that we are capable of, but to learn from them we must first learn how to communicate with them.
We often attribute some wonderful qualities to animals, which makes us more grateful for the natural world. Each animal is a path to the human spiritual world, but most people fail to understand that what they think of animals is also what they think of themselves.
When we learn to talk to animals, listen from their perspective, and see the world through their eyes, we will experience the wonder, power, and potential of human nature. Animals are no longer our accessories, but our mentors and helpful friends, showing the true greatness of life and awakening our forgotten childlike hearts, beliefs in magic, dreams and possibilities.
If you talk to animals,
They will also talk to you,
*And you will understand each other. *
If you don’t talk to them,
- just can’t understand them. *
You will be afraid of the unknown,
*And people will try to destroy the things they fear. *
